Whilst every effort has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the
information in these pages, their content is naturally subject to
change. With respect to such information, Procureweb expressly
excludes any representations or warranties (whether express or
implied) and all liability including direct, indirect, special,
incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use of the
information in these pages, to the fullest extent possible under
the law.
Upon receipt of written notification, Procureweb will consider
the removal of any material (but is under no obligation to take
such action) contained in these pages, which is subject to legal
objection, pending completion of an internal investigation
regarding the use of such material.

web service or systems, including but not limited to text,
photographs, video, audio and graphics, is protected by copyright,
irrespective of whether a copyright symbol and statement are

Logo Trade Mark
Procureweb's logo and the name Procureweb are registered
trademarks (number 2315673) and may not be copied or reproduced in
any way without written permission from Procureweb as applicable to

Procureweb Communication Systems, Terms and
Conditions
Where the general public and users of Procureweb and inclusive
services are given the ability to use Procureweb systems to publish
responses to consultation papers; post messages or information
which can be read by any other individual or on the public domain;
or email other registered users via mailing lists are subject to
the following terms and conditions (acceptance of these terms and
conditions are signified by use of such systems):
- Procureweb communication systems, subject to these
terms and conditions includes but not exclusively includes the
following systems: use of issued email-addresses with the
@procureweb.ac.uk prefix; membership (whether self-registered or
assigned) of mailing lists and newsletters hosted by Jisc
Procureweb; administration access to www.gem.ac.uk; information and
data posted on www.tenders.ac.uk (which
is a Procureweb service); completion of a response form where other
users of Procureweb can view the public response (which will be
clearly stated), registration and use of any web based forums; FTP
(File Transfer Protocol) access to any of the Procureweb servers;
or any other service which states that terms and conditions
apply.
- Regardless of registration, no one may use the
service under a false identify or by using another person's
identity.
- Under systems that require user registration,
under no circumstances may this registration data (username or
password) be given to or used by any other person except the
registered user.
- Under no circumstances are anyone permitted
to use Procureweb's communication systems to advertise or express
opinions other than those relevant to the service.
- The systems are not to be used for any commercial
activity without the express written permission from
Procureweb.
- It is strictly forbidden to use any of these
systems to promote, link to or upload any material contrary to UK
and international law (including but not restricted to illegally
copied material such as MP3's etc.). In addition to this, it is
strictly forbidden to promote, link to or upload any inappropriate
material deemed to be offensive or contrary to UK or international
law.
- Procureweb is not responsible for the content
disseminated by external users using the communication services and
is unable to monitor postings or uploaded files, links etc., for
misuse and/or content all of the time.
- The use of abusive language, racism and other
language which could cause offence to the recipient(s) or any
potential reader in the public domain is strictly forbidden.
- Procureweb reserves the full right to terminate a
service; a registered user account; and/or access to specific or
full service areas due to a breach of these terms and
conditions.
- Procureweb reserves the right to refuse access, or
registration for access to any service, to any person if Procureweb
views them as ineligible for any reason.
- Procureweb reserves the right to not give any
reasons for refusal of access to any service, but wherever possible
and practical will endeavour to respond to all communications.
- Application for, or challenges to refusal of,
access, should be made in writing to:
team@procureweb.ac.uk, or other appropriate route for specific
service, whose decision will be final.
