Xchange

Xchange is a free to use system for buying and selling surplus equipment, within and between institutions.

By aiding the process of buying and selling surplus equipment, Xchange can help institutions to meet their sustainability agendas and save money. The system also assists institutions to comply with relevant environmental legislation, including Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations.

Xchange is available for all UK Higher and Further Education Institutions, as well as the UK Research Councils.

It is currently being used as the primary system for advertising surplus equipment within Cardiff University and the University of the West of England, Bristol.
