Who we work with
Higher Education
Jisc Procureweb works directly with Universities and other
Higher Education institutions within the UK. The Procurement
Efficiency Survey and Best Practice Performance Indicators (BPIs)
is a service we provide to HEFCE. The
GeM contracts database and eMarketplace is used by the majority of
Higher Education institutions in the country.
Further Education
Jisc Procureweb works with Further Education colleges, the Association of Colleges and the
Jisc Regional Support
Centres to provide a set of procurement resources to the
sector.
Purchasing Consortia
Jisc Procureweb works closely with the following Higher and
Further Education Regional Purchasing Consortia to support
collaborative procurement across the sector.
Professional Bodies
Jisc Procureweb works closely with the Association
of Procurement Officers (AUPO) and the British
Universities Finance Directors Group (BUFDG) to support the
work they do. Recent projects such as the Continued Professional
Development tool highlights how Jisc Procureweb supports the
work done by these groups.
English National Procurement (ENP) has been established to,
among other things, bring together all procurement professional
bodies in HE. ENP will complement developing strategies
in both Scotland and Wales. Jisc Procureweb is a member of
ENP.
Research Councils
Jisc Procureweb works very closely with the Research Councils to
aid their equipment reuse projects.
