Jo Morgan: Operations Manager

Jo started working with Jisc Procureweb in January 2001. Jo has held various roles within the project including Project Support Officer and Project Manager. Jo was appointed as Jisc Procureweb Operations Manager in December 2006. Jo's role is to oversee the operational management of the Project.

Graduating from Glamorgan University with a BA(Hons) Marketing degree in 1999, Jo worked previously for the Welsh Development Agency as a Project Administrator within the Technology and Innovation Department and with the University of Glamorgan as an Administrator in the Academic Registry.

Jo is a fully qualified PRINCE2 practitioner.

Joseph Wells: Web Systems Manager

Joe Wells manages the technical, systems and infrastructure requirements of Procureweb. Coming from a masters background in Computer Science, he has previously worked in systems development and in the management of large corporate systems. Before starting with Jisc Procureweb he was most recently responsible for managing a team which was responsible for Cardiff University's student records and its corporate reporting systems.

Joe's role is to improve the stability of the Jisc Procureweb server infrastructure and to work with the HE/FE sector to provide information, advice and tools that help with their procurement functions.

Simeon Davies: Project Support Officer

Simeon joined JISC Procureweb in July 2007 as the Project Support Officer.

Simeon graduated in 1997 with a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Technology. He has previously worked as an analyst / programmer supporting an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) consultancy. Later Simeon worked as a Business Solutions Developer supplying eCommerce solutions primarily developing ecatalogues and Web sites.

In 2001 he started work at the eCommerce Innovation Centre, Cardiff University where he worked for six years as a research associate on the Opportunity Wales Programme. He was responsible for the training of business advisers, production of case studies, eCommerce research and project support roles.

Simeon is a fully qualified PRINCE2 practitioner.

Nathan Skidmore: Web Systems Technician

Since graduating from Cardiff University with a BSc (Hons) Computer Science degree in 2005, Nathan enrolled on the Logica graduate scheme. During this time Nathan worked as a Service Consultant, specifically on the MRC (Medical Research Council) contract.

Nathan started working with Jisc Procureweb in July 2009. He currently holds the role of Web Systems Technician, working closely alongside the Web Systems Manager. Within this role Nathan is responsible for any technical aspect of the Jisc Procureweb systems, including web development and enhancements.

Richard Haggerty: Senior Administrative Officer

Richard is the senior administrative officer and manages first line help support for the new GeM website, as well as co-ordinating trainings for the HE and FE sector.

Richard graduated from the University of Kent at Canterbury in 1998 with a BA (Hons) in European Studies with French and Italian; since then he has worked as a systems developer for NatWest; he also has a marketing and web development background, and has seven years' experience running trainings.

Richard is a qualified life coach and NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer. Richard's role is to provide customer support for users of our procurement services and help develop trainings that meet their needs.

Kathryn Whittaker: Marketing Officer

Kathryn is the Marketing Officer for Jisc Procureweb managing all marketing, and communications for the Procureweb team. 

Kathryn graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 2008 with a BA (Hons) in American Studies.  Following graduation, Kathryn worked for the British Council in Manchester before moving to Cardiff in 2009 to work within the UK Erasmus National Agency.   

Kathryn holds a CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing.
