Getting here by train:

The Jisc Procureweb office is a 45 minute walk from Cardiff Central Station. Alternatively, you can catch a local train from Cardiff Central Station to Cathays Station, only 2 stops away. From Cathays Station, the office is a short 10 minute walk from the station.

The trains to Cathays Station depart from Platform 6 at Cardiff Central. The trains that stop at Cathays station are those to Merthyr Tydfil, Aberdare, Treherbert and Pontypridd.

From Cathays Station you need to turn right at the lane, walking in parallel to the train line. Before reaching the adjacent road at the end of the lane, take a slight left down the ramp and walk through the tunnel. Continue to follow the road beside the train line until you reach a large car park on the left. The modern building at the far end of the car park is the Julian Hodge Building. Jisc Procureweb is based on the 3rd Floor.

For more information on the train service please visit the Traveline Cymru website.

Parking:

Car Parking in University car parks is limited and a visitor permit is required.

If you have arranged a visitor permit, this can be collected from the security lodge, located beside the barriers at Colum Drive and the entrance to the Julian Hodge Building. However, there are several short and long stay public car parks located close to the University, all of which are marked on the University and City Centre map.

There is also car parking available within the civic centre (along Park Place, College Road, City Hall Road, King Edward VII Avenue and Museum Avenue) where a pay and display system operates. Green Ticket Machines operate at frequent intervals along these roads and accept debit/credit cards and cash.

If you require a car parking, permit please contact Jisc Procureweb to arrange a visitor permit, as spaces are limited.
